Originally developed by the Bhil tribe and later embraced by royal Rajput courts, Ghoomar is Rajasthan's most iconic dance. Dancers clad in heavy zari-embroidered Rajputi Poshaks perform pirouettes while moving inside and outside a circle. The pirouettes display the magnificent spectrum of the flowing ghagra.
